Welcome to Ben Boroujerdi’s portfolio page.

I’m a mechanical engineering student at the University of Central Florida. I aspire to become a professionally licensed engineer and to continuously find internships that further my skills as an engineer. I’ll continuously update this page as I develop more projects. Come check out my work below!

Overview of Personal Projects, Leadership, & Clubs

Notable accomplishments:

  1. Design Intern at Nassal Fabrication.
  2. NASA L’SPACE MCA Lead Systems Engineer
  3. Founder and President of Knight’s Special Effects Club (KSEC)

Aerospace Projects: High Powered Rocket and drone

Movie Props and 3-D Printing: Darth Vader Mask Replica

Utilized primer and Bondo while meticulously sanding the helmet for maximum smoothness and accuracy.

After post processing was done, I’m currently working on vacuum forming red lenses just like how the original prop makers did back in 1977.

Programming /Robotics: Early Projects

This was one of the very first projects I did at UCF with the IEEE chapter.

This autonomous boat was a group effort. It’s called the “Great Naval Orange Race,” a staple of the UCF engineering curriculumn.
